With more than 2,300 physicians and 4,600 nurses, including new graduate nurses joining at the bedside, our teams delivered high-quality care across every specialty. National recognition as the No. 1 children’s hospital in Texas reflects this commitment — but the true impact is felt in the clinic, the operating room and the moments when families need answers, reassurance and hope.

Turning discovery into healing

In 2025, Texas Children’s continued to advance research that directly benefits patients. With more than 400 active clinical trials, and over $88 million invested in our research efforts, Texas Children’s set new records. Families facing complex and rare conditions gained access to new therapies and innovative solutions. From neurological breakthroughs to our historic partnership in childhood cancer care, our research is driven by one goal: expanding what’s possible for our patients.

Expanding access 

Caring for families doesn’t stop at our hospital doors. This year, Texas Children’s expanded programs that bring hope directly into communities — from mobile health clinics and vaccination programs to more than $71 million invested in charity care. We are committed to reaching every child, woman and family who needs us, regardless of race, religion or ability to pay.

Looking ahead with gratitude

Texas Children’s cared for more than 5 million patients in 2025, welcomed thousands of newborns and made a life-changing difference across Texas and beyond. Thanks to the dedication of our teams and the amazing generosity of our philanthropic community — with over $220 million raised, a record-breaking year — more families than ever before received the care they needed. As we look ahead to 2026, our focus remains the same: creating a healthier future for children and women throughout our global community and leading with HEART every day.
