Dr. Zhandong Liu receives NIH Autism Data Science Initiative Grant

Texas Children’s Dr. Zhandong Lui was one of only 13 researchers funded as part of the NIH Autism Data Science Initiative, a $50 million research effort aimed at using large-scale data resources to explore the underlying causes of autism.
Using an advanced Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) approach, Dr. Lui’s project will develop a robust framework to validate and replicate current autism data science models, leveraging the comprehensive patient data collected at Texas Children’s Hospital.
