Sillitoe Lab's Lauren Peacoe Receives Two TANGO2 Awards

Awards

The Cerebellum Science Center is pleased to share some fantastic news about our graduate student and member of the Roy Sillitoe, PhD, Lab, Lauren Peacoe!

Lauren has received not just one, but two prestigious honors from the TANGO2 Research Foundation. She was awarded the RP Murray Memorial Fund Travel Stipend Award, which will support her travel to the 2026 TANGO2 Family Conference in Orlando, Florida (June 28–30, 2026).

Even more exciting, Lauren has also been selected as a recipient of the 2026 TANGO2 Research Foundation Emerging Researcher Award, a recognition of her outstanding contributions to TANGO2 deficiency disorder research. She will be formally honored during the conference on June 29.

These awards are a testament to Lauren’s hard work, dedication, and the meaningful impact of her research. It’s wonderful to see her efforts recognized on this stage, and we’re incredibly proud to have her as part of our team.

Please join me in congratulating Lauren on these incredible and well-deserved achievements!
