Texas Children's is honored to consistently rank as the best children's hospital in Texas and among the top hospitals in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. We take immense pride in this achievement, which is a testament to the dedication and hard work of our exceptional team, including our amazing volunteers. Our volunteers play a crucial role in providing the best possible care to children, women, and their families, and we are incredibly grateful for their contribution.
At Texas Children's, we believe that our volunteers are an essential part of our team, and we assign volunteer positions based on the hospital's current needs, as well as the volunteer's availability, interests, and skills. We welcome volunteers who are at least 18 years old and can commit to serving a minimum of one, three-hour shift every week for at least six months, at the same day and time. Please note we do not have any volunteer programming during evening or weekend at The Texas Medical Center Campus. All placements take place Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Join us today and be a part of the best children's hospital in Texas. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of children and their families.
