Dr. Onur Turkoglu is a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist with expertise in managing high-risk pregnancies that are complicated by complex maternal and fetal disorders. He has also a strong interest in translational research to improve the diagnosis and treatment of several pregnancy-related complications. He is passionate about providing comprehensive care to women with high-risk pregnancies and managing their complex maternal-fetal conditions.
Personal Statement
I am passionate about providing comprehensive care to women with high-risk pregnancies and managing their complex maternal-fetal conditions. I have obtained a tremendous amount of clinical experience in full aspects of pregnancy care during my Obstetrics and Gynecology residencies and post-doctoral training and my Maternal Fetal Medicine fellowship training. My clinical skills include performing specialized ultrasound scans, complex obstetric surgeries, genetic counseling and prenatal diagnostic procedures to ensure the best maternal and fetal outcomes.
I am actively involved in translational research with specific expertise in metabolomics to improve the diagnosis and understanding of challenging maternal-fetal medical conditions. I am also dedicated to providing medical, surgical and research education to many students and residents.
My commitment to excellence is reflected in my clinical practice in which I strive to deliver individualized evidence-based care to each patient.
