Dr. Colah is a Reproductive Psychiatrist at Texas Children’s Hospital caring for women from preconception and pregnancy through postpartum and perimenopause. She provides evidence‑based medication management for depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and trauma‑related conditions, with expertise in perinatal medication management—including during pregnancy and breastfeeding—and coordinated care with OB‑GYN teams. A dedicated clinician‑educator, she supervises residents and has authored peer‑reviewed articles in reproductive psychiatry.
Personal Statement
I am dedicated to supporting women through the challenges that can arise during pregnancy, postpartum, and other reproductive transitions such as perimenopause. I take a holistic approach, listening to each person's life story and working together to find treatments that fit my patient's needs and values. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where patients feel understood and where we can partner to promote healing, resilience, and overall well-being.
