Dr. Yau-San Tam is a licensed therapeutic optometrist committed to providing quality eye care for adults and children of all ages. Believing that vision is the foundation for learning, she is most passionate about working with children and treating ocular disorders such as lazy eye, eye turns, and ocular focusing problems. Personal Statement
I believe in maximizing vision and eye health for children, not only to enhance learning but also to provide the best quality of life. Through an evidence-based approach and collaboration with each patient and their family, I develop a customized plan to help my patients achieve functional and comfortable vision. Often, the eyes are a window into an individual's overall health; therefore, other health issues may also be addressed and/or referred to the proper healthcare provider for further evaluation and treatment. Everything must work well together holistically to help each child reach their full potential.
