Whitney Landfried is a Nurse Practitioner in the Adolescent Medicine Division at Texas Children’s Hospital specializing in patients with eating disorders. She practices in the outpatient setting where she works closely with the mental health and dietary teams as well as the remainder of the medical team to promote healthy lifestyles consistent with appropriate adolescent growth and development. Prior to joining the Adolescent Medicine team, Whitney was Nurse Practitioner in the Texas Children’s Cancer and Hematology Center.
Her nursing experience also includes 10 years at Christus Children’s Hospital in San Antonio in bedside nursing, caring for critically ill patients in the Pediatric Oncology department and the Pediatric ICU.
Whitney advocates for a family-centered approach to promote recovery and overall quality of life for her patients.
