Wesley Lee, MD, is Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and serves as Director of the Division of Women's and Fetal Imaging at Baylor College of Medicine, where he had completed a fellowship. He is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Maternal-Fetal Medicine.
Dr. Lee has authored over 220 peer-reviewed articles and 26 book chapters pertaining to perinatal medicine, prenatal detection of congenital anomalies, fetal growth, 3D/4D fetal ultrasonography and fetal magnetic resonance imaging.
Dr. Lee has chaired task force committees related to the development of practice guidelines for prenatal ultrasonography and fetal cardiac imaging for the International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynecology (ISUOG) and the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine. Other activities have included Chair, ISUOG Clinical Standards Committee (2006-2010), Deputy Editor of the Journal of Ultrasound in Medicine, and co-editor of two textbooks: Sonography in Obstetrics & Gynecology, Principles and Practice, 7th edition; Fundamental and Advanced Fetal Imaging. Ultrasound and MRI. 2nd edition, Wolters Kluwer Health.
