Personal Statement
Dr. Hardwick’s purpose is to provide thoughtful and compassionate care to children and their loved ones by creating an environment for open communication, empathy and staying up to date on evidence-based medical practices. It is her passion to educate and empower families to care for their child who has a neurological condition.
Clinical Interests:
Pediatric neuroimmunology diseases, including multiple sclerosis, acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder, autoimmune encephalitis, myasthenia gravis and opsoclonus-myoclonus-ataxia syndrome
Research Interests:
Neuroimmunology diseases and their effects on children; and better understanding how factors such as racial and ethnic differences, socioeconomic status, and access to care affect the health of children with neurological disorders
