Get to know Thanh (Tang) Mai, PT, DPT
Tang specializes in caring for youth athletes who want to safely return to sport. She utilizes evidence-based research and a hands-on approach to help her patients gain the skills and confidence needed to return to their desired level of play and performance.
Prior to joining Texas Children’s Hospital, she worked alongside pediatric, collegiate and professional athletes in a variety of sports including football, gymnastics, dance, basketball, soccer, baseball and rugby.
When Tang is not in the clinic, she attends and presents at conferences related to physical therapy. She also enjoys sharing her knowledge with graduate students as a guest lecturer.
Personal Statement

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, yoga, tennis, climbing, scuba diving and board sports.
