Shaun Reghabi is a dual-licensed, dual-residency trained physical therapist and athletic trainer working as a Sports Clinical Specialist at Texas Children’s Hospital Kingwood Specialty Care. With credentials as a physical therapist, licensed certified athletic trainer, and certified strength and conditioning specialist, Shaun applies evidence-informed rehabilitation, performance-driven strength programming, and athlete-centered clinical care to support safe, efficient return to sport for youth and adolescent athletes.
Shaun is also certified by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties-Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist National Strength and Conditioning Association-Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Institute for Athlete Regeneration (IAR)-Certified Functional Dry Needling Level 1.
Shaun is currently enrolled at Rice University Jones Graduate School of Business working on his MBA, with expected graduation in 2027.
Personal Statement
As a former collegiate soccer athlete, I am driven to empower young athletes at Texas Children’s to return to sport stronger, safer, and with renewed confidence. My combined expertise as a physical therapist and athletic trainer allows me to seamlessly integrate on-field performance strategies with proactive injury prevention. I partner closely with each child and their family, listening carefully, educating thoroughly, and tailoring every plan to their unique journey, so they feel supported both physically and emotionally. Committed to continuous growth, I bring a collaborative spirit to our team, seek out innovative solutions, and hold myself to the highest standards to ensure every athlete achieves their fullest potential.
