Get to know Selorm Adzaku Dei-Tutu, MD, MPH
Dr. Dei-Tutu is a board-certified pediatric endocrinologist with a strong interest in public and global health. She joined the Texas Children's Hospital Division of Pediatric Diabetes and Endocrinology in 2019. She is the co-lead of the At-Risk Diabetes Care Process Team, a multi-disciplinary team focused on quality improvement initiatives to reduce the morbidity in children with diabetes who are at high risk of DKA and other adverse effects of diabetes.
Dr. Dei-Tutu also serves as a Texas Children’s representative to the T1D Exchange QI collaborative, a national consortium of diabetes centers all working to improve health outcomes for patient populations through multidisciplinary and continuous quality improvement initiatives. She is also an active member of the division’s Turner Syndrome Care Process Team, which is a quality improvement team working to optimize care of patients with Turner Syndrome.
Personal Statement
My overarching career goal is to provide complete, compassionate and high-quality care to children with endocrine diseases on a personal and population scale. I work to provide this care by leveraging my public health, quality improvement and clinical skills.
