Get to know Sara McLean, PT, DPT
Sara McLean is a sports physical therapist at Texas Children's Hospital working primarily with adolescent athletes and a younger orthopedic population. Her clinical interests include operative and non-operative management of youth athletes with lower extremity injuries, management of orthopedic conditions using aquatic therapy and health promotion. In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Dr. McLean is a faculty member for the Sports Physical Therapy Residency program. She also serves as a mentor for the residency program and as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students.
Dr. McLean is a board certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy and earned her Aquaticist certification in Pediatrics. Prior to her graduate education, she received a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Houston.
