Salma Hooshmand, OTR, CHT, is an experienced occupational therapist with a foundation in education and advanced specialization in hand and upper extremity therapy. As a Certified Hand Therapist, she is dedicated to helping individuals with a wide range of orthopedic upper extremity conditions regain function and achieve their personal goals.
Salma has extensive expertise in the fabrication of custom orthoses, the treatment of both traumatic and repetitive strain injuries, and the management of post-operative rehabilitation. She is committed to delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and believes that the most effective outcomes are achieved through a collaborative, team-based approach—one that includes the referring physician, the therapist, and most importantly, the patient and caregivers.
