Dr. Attaar is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Baylor College of Medicine and an Pediatric Intensivist at Texas Children's Hospital West Campus. After completing pediatric residency and critical care medicine fellowship, she completed further training in quality improvement and patient safety science. She regularly presents cases, research and clinical initiatives at conferences and meetings in her field.
Personal Statement
I am deeply committed to providing high-quality, evidence-based case to my patients and their families with an emphasis on patient and family beliefs and values. I strive to treat patients and families compassionately as if they were my own loved ones, and I invite collaboration and shared decision making to personalize care and achieve the best possible outcomes. I consciously work towards creating and contributing to an inclusive and collegial team environment with all trainees, staff members, sub-specialists and colleagues to provide consistent, holistic, well-balanced care to our patients.
