Get to know Royanne Lichliter, MSN, RN, CPN
Royanne Lichliter is the Director of System Quality Education, Simulation, and Continuing Medical Education (CME). Since joining Texas Children’s in 2016, Royanne has continued her professional growth and advancing into leadership roles across the organization.
Over the course of her career, she has accumulated approximately two decades of experience in leadership, quality and simulation. She also spent many years in direct nursing practice, developing a strong foundation in clinical care and patient safety.
In collaboration with system and quality leaders, Royanne is frequently invited to speak at regional and national conferences, sharing her expertise on the use of simulation as a strategic driver for quality and patient safety. Her work has contributed to multiple publications focused on simulation and quality improvement.
Royanne continues to serve as a catalyst for change and a strong advocate for education and continuous improvement in health care. Her contributions have been recognized through numerous accolades, including the DAISY Award for Nursing and the Nightingale Luminary Award.
