Personal Statement
I am a proud sixth generation Texan and graduate of Texas A&M University, and I am honored to serve the people of Houston. In addition to being a doctor, I hold a degree in human development, have taught elementary school, have practiced medicine internationally, and have coached little league baseball. I try to encourage participation from young patients as often as is developmentally appropriate. I believe that all patients deserve timely access to cardiac care as well as a physician that listens, treats them with respect, and responds appropriately.
My husband and I enjoy travelling with our two children, spending time with friends and family, warm weather, and watching baseball.
