Get to know Rachel Stacy, OTD, OTR/L
Rachel Stacy joined Texas Children's Hospital The Woodlands therapy department in March 2023. She is interested in community integration and implemented her capstone project, “Inclusive Programming: Supporting the Needs of People with Disabilities in a Zoological Setting” at the Brevard Zoo in Melbourne, Florida.
Rachel is passionate about meeting the needs of all individuals. She served on the executive board for the Gator chapter of the Coalition of Occupational Therapy Advocates for Diversity (COTAD) winning the National Chapter of the Year Award in 2021.
Personal Statement
I believe in using functional play skills to increase participation and quality of life across all areas of life.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, traveling, and hiking at national parks.
