Get to know Patricia Goen, MD, FAAP
Dr. Goen was the Senior Pediatric Resident at Texas Children’s Hospital in 1989 and received the Outstanding Senior Resident Award the same year. After her residency, she joined University Pediatric Association from 1989-1993 and then moved to the Pediatric ICU at Scott and White in Temple. After serving as a medical missionary in Nigeria from 1999-2004, Dr. Goen returned to the Brazos Valley and joined University Pediatric Association in 2014. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening and reading Christian books, mysteries, and historical fiction. Dr. Goen’s favorite part of being a pediatrician is being someone that families can trust will care for and about their children.
