Get to know Pablo Motta, MD
Dr. Motta's interests entail the study of thoracic epidural anesthesia in pediatric lung transplant recipients. He is also collaborating in the study of the anesthetic management and outcomes in Berlin heart patients. Dr. Motta is involved in peri-operative trans-esophageal echocardiography and holds a PTEsXAM Testamur certification. On a personal level he lives a very active and healthy lifestyle. Dr. Motta has completed 8 full marathons, run the prestigious Boston marathon and several triathlon distances including the Texas Ironman. Due to this interest, Dr. Motta has been appointed to lead the Wellness initiative in the Surgery and Anesthesia Departments at Texas Children's Hospital.
