Personal Statement
“Treat the person, not the injury” is a motto that I follow in regard to my philosophy regarding patient care. I truly believe that to achieve the greatest level of function and independence, one cannot disregard the person as a whole when treating an injury or post-surgical rehabilitation. I have an extensive background in orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapy for both adult and pediatric patients, working with professional, college, high school, and recreational athletes. During my school years, I was active in swimming and rugby — the latter being the most influential since the belief in pushing forward despite all obstacles permeates all aspects of therapy. Being multilingual and having spent my childhood and adolescence in multiple countries, I have a profound sense of multiculturalism and strive to provide the best care possible.
