Get to know Noël Mensah-Bonsu, MD, FAAP
Dr. Mensah-Bonsu graduated summa cum laude from Washington State University with a degree in Psychology, followed by graduation from the University of Washington School of Medicine. She went onto complete her pediatric training at the University of Chicago, and practiced as a hospitalist for 7 years before returning to fellowship training in Development and Behavior at Baylor College of Medicine and Texas Children’s Hospital. She is now an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, and is serving as the Associate Program Director for the Developmental-Behavioral Fellowship Program, as well as the Director of the Resident Education at the Meyer Center for Developmental Pediatrics at Texas Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Mensah-Bonsu approaches each child and family individually, with attention to interpersonal influences as well as genetic, sociocultural, and environmental factors which may impact a child’s behavior and/or development. She is passionate about supporting families in the care of special children in order to maximize their quality of life and meet their potential.
