Dr. Parikh is a psychologist who provides behavioral health services within a primary care setting. She utilizes evidence-based clinical interventions including cognitive behavior therapy, parent management training, and acceptance and commitment therapy while flexibly applying these clinical practices within a short-term model of care. Dr. Parikh is very passionate about providing preventative care and improving access to behavioral health care services.
Personal Statement
I am very passionate about providing high quality, evidence-based care to patients and their families within a primary care setting. Specifically, I serve as a coach for patients and families by supporting them in learning and implementing skills into their daily practice to help reach their personal values and goals. Further, an integral part of my role is to establish a close partnership with our pediatric medical providers in best serving the mental and behavioral health needs of our pediatric patients.
