Mimi Phan Haghshenas, MD

Dr. Mimi Phan Haghshenas is an Assistant Professor of Women's Imaging at Texas Children's Pavilion for Women. Her clinical interests include gynecologic imaging, pelvic MRI, endometriosis and first-trimester obstetric imaging.

Dr. Phan is actively involved in academic medicine through research, mentorship and leadership. She has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented research nationally, with a particular focus on women's imaging. She serves as a medical student mentor for the Texas Radiological Society and has held leadership roles within graduate medical education. Her work has been recognized with multiple honors, including ACR Institute for Radiologic Pathology Best Genitourinary Case Award, Houston Methodist Clinical Research Award, and Guiberteau Nominee for Resident Excellence.

Personal Statement

I am honored to serve as an Adult Radiologist at Texas Children's Pavilion for Women and Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine. I am passionate about providing thoughtful and excellent patient-centered care while advancing the field of women's imaging through education, research and mentorship.

Outside of my professional work, my greatest joy is spending time with my husband and our three children. Our family enjoys traveling and creating lasting memories through adventures. We are actively involved in our church and school community, where our faith serves as a foundation for family life.  These interests help me maintain balance and bring the same sense of purpose and mindfulness to my work as a physician.
