Dr. Micaela Wexler, a child and adolescent psychiatrist at Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus, provides evaluation and treatment for a host of psychiatric conditions, including attention-deficit hyperactive disorder, depression, anxiety, mood instability and autism spectrum disorder. She has great enthusiasm for the ways in which psychiatric care of children and adolescents can enhance the well-being of the entire family.
Dr. Wexler, who is fluent in Spanish, has a special interest in increasing access to mental health care for special populations, including racial minorities and military service members. She is a Major in the US Army Reserves, proudly serving in the 7455 Medical Readiness Operations Unit (MORU).
