Personal Statement
Meghan McCarty is a physical therapist at Texas Children's Hospital Texas Medical Center Campus, where she provides physical therapy assessment and treatment services to patients of all ages. As a member of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation team, Meghan works with patients with a variety of diagnoses, including orthopedic injuries, neuromuscular problems, genetic disorders, developmental delay, head and spinal cord injuries, oral and motor feeding dysfunction and many others.
Prior to joining Texas Children's, Meghan gained a wealth of experience as a physical therapist at facilities in Abilene, Texas, and Knoxville, Tennessee.

I have always enjoyed working with children and I consider it an honor to be a small part in each child’s success. Success can mean very different things to different families, and I strive to help my patients and their families achieve their goals to become successful…whatever that may be for them!
