Maria Patricia (Patty) Stevens, MD, FAAP

Dr. Maria Stevens has a great interest in promoting physical and mental health wellness among kids and adolescents. She enjoys sharing tips and great advice with new parents to make the most of parenthood and to raise healthy and happy kids. As a mother to two teenage girls, she also loves to share her advice on raising healthy, happy and resilient teenagers.

Dr. Stevens enjoys volunteering with her daughters in the community at various philanthropies through National Charity League to help spread joy and hope and to teach the value of giving back to our community.

Dr. Stevens has coordinated the practice's annual volunteering every summer since 2002 at a local nonprofit's youth camp that provides free sports physicals to the campers.

Personal Statement

I am highly committed to providing high-quality and evidence-based care to my patients and their families. I think great health care outcomes are achieved through respectful and open-minded discussions. Being a great listener is paramount. I love welcoming families to our practice and building strong bonds with them over time. I wish for everyone to feel welcome and well cared for in our Cypresswood medical home.
