Maria has been serving the residents of Harris County as a certified Community Health Worker for the past 17 years. With her extensive experience gained from assisting patients in Harris County, she has become a trusted expert in navigating resources. As a proud native Houstonian, Maria has built enduring professional relationships and empowers her clients to access state assistance by meeting them where they are in life to help them achieve their goals.
She recently joined the Family CARE Partners team at Baylor College of Medicine where she passionately supports and uplifts pregnant and early postpartum families, inspiring them to advocate for their health and well-being.
