Dr. Yates is a board-certified Pediatric Cardiologist dedicated to delivering exceptional cardiovascular care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. With expertise in diagnosing and treating congenital and acquired heart conditions, Dr. Yates provides comprehensive, patient-centered care focused on medical excellence and family support.
Dr. Yates' clinical interests include congenital heart disease, heart murmurs, arrhythmias, chest pain, syncope, preventive cardiology, genetic conditions and family history of heart disease, and long-term cardiac follow-up. She works closely with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs.
Dr. Yates is passionate about empowering families through education and helping young patients achieve optimal heart health and quality of life. By fostering open communication and strong partnerships with families, she strives to ensure that patients receive personalized care and support throughout their health care journey.
Personal Statement
As a pediatric cardiologist, I am committed to utilizing evidence-based approaches and the latest advancements to deliver the highest quality care. Whether providing routine cardiac evaluations or managing complex heart conditions, I focus on helping each patient achieve the best possible outcomes and lead a healthy, active life. I feel that family education is a key component of exceptional pediatric cardiac care. When families understand their child's heart condition, they are better equipped to make informed decisions, participate in treatment planning, and support their child's long-term health. I take pride in explaining complex medical information in a way that patients and their families find clear, approachable, and empowering.
Outside of medicine, I enjoy fitness, traveling, photography, and aviation, which allow me to explore new perspectives, appreciate different cultures, and pursue my lifelong curiosity about the world around me.
