Madison is a Speech-Language Pathologist at Texas Children’s Hospital whose clinical background is rooted in pediatric acute care, with the majority of her experience in the pediatric intensive care unit (PICU). In this setting, she provided evidence-based care to children with dysphagia, cognitive-communication deficits, expressive and receptive language disorders, speech sound disorders, and novel AAC needs. She is passionate about caregiver education, multidisciplinary collaboration, and delivering care that incorporates principles of neurodevelopment to optimize patient outcomes.
Clinical Interests
Aerodigestive disorders, dysphagia management within the medically fragile infant population, disorders of consciousness, acquired brain injuries, feeding/swallowing in patients with tracheostomy/ventilator dependence, continuity of care from inpatient to outpatient settings, instrumental swallow evaluations.
