Personal Statement
As a women’s health nurse practitioner, I take a holistic approach that accounts for the mind, body, and spirit connection. With every visit, I provide patient centered care that includes explanation of possible or current diagnosis, treatment options, and rationale for treatment. Furthermore, I take the time to talk to every patient, one on one, in a safe environment that allows for any questions about their growth and development to be addressed and encourage healthy practices. My goal is to create an open space where I serve the specific needs of each woman and empower them to learn and be involved in their own healthcare.
Clinical Interests
My clinical interests in helping young women ranges from the preventative well women exam, including contraception management, handling period problems (irregular and/or heavy menstrual bleeding, PMS/PMDD, and dysmenorrhea), and chronic conditions (Polycystic ovarian syndrome, Endometriosis, and Pelvic Pain).
