Kristina Vidaurri is a certified Speech-Language Pathologist with experience evaluating and treating children with a wide range of communication disorders. She has a strong interest in early intervention, speech sound disorders, childhood language disorders, and literacy-based intervention. She is especially passionate about supporting holistic language development by considering the social, cultural, and functional aspects of communication, with particular attention to multicultural and multilingual considerations in assessment and treatment. Prior to her current role at Texas Children’s Hospital, Kristina gained valuable experience in the home health and public school settings, providing services to children from infancy through adolescence.
Personal Statement
I believe in a collaborative, patient- and family-centered approach to care, recognizing the vital role caregivers, educators, therapists, and medical providers play in a child’s success. I strongly value evidence-based practice and strive to empower families by incorporating meaningful, functional goals that support communication and language development across all environments.
