Katie Kocar, MA, CCC-SLP

Personal Statement

Katie Kocar, a pediatric speech-language pathologist since 2015, has experience working with children from birth to 18 years of age. She has worked in the pediatric medical outpatient setting and the public school system, treating children with a variety of communication needs. Katie specializes in the assessment and implementation of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), with clinical experience working on a variety of speech-generating devices. She is trained in picture exchange communication system (PECS) and language acquisition through motor planning (LAMP) and has experience in the assessment and treatment of children with autism spectrum disorder.
