Dr. Lemon is a member of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Texas Children's Hospital and Baylor College of Medicine. She provides inpatient care for infants, children, and adolescents with a variety of infectious diseases. Her research at Baylor College of Medicine focuses on discovering innovative strategies to prevent infections caused by members of the human nasal microbiome, with an emphasis on Staphylococcus aureus nasal decolonization, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and the role of beneficial nasal bacteria in promoting human health.
