Kasey Vernon is a Speech-Language Pathologist and the therapy manager for Texas Children’s Specialty Care CyFair. Kasey started her career at Texas Children's Hospital in 2008 with Speech Language & Learning in the Texas Children in the Medical Center and served as the Speech-Language Pathologist for the RISE School of Houston until transferring to the West Campus in 2012.
Kasey and her husband relocated to College Station in late 2013 where she served as the Lead Speech Language Pathologist for College Station ISD until she returned to Texas Children's Specialty Care Sugar Land in 2018. Kasey continued to assess and treat patients as well as precept therapists across campuses and mentor other disciplines at the Texas Children’s West Campus from 2019 to 2024.
As a therapist, she participated in Texas Children’s hospital-wide work groups and in 2023 led the hospital’s Therapy Critical Competency Pilot for the West & South Region.
