Karen Coulter, MA, CCC-SLP

Personal Statement

Karen Coulter has been practicing as a speech-language pathologist since 1998 and has experience in working with the pediatric population in both public school and outpatient clinical settings. She believes in a family-centered approach for the assessment and treatment of pediatric communication and feeding disorders and places strong emphasis on education and training for caregivers to promote generalization of a child’s skills to functional environments.

Clinical Interests:

Speech-language development in children from birth to 5 years of age

Feeding disorders characterized by oral aversion, picky eating, and oral motor dysfunction

Orofacial Myofunctional Disorders
