Personal Statement
I chose to practice otolaryngology because I was fascinated by the anatomy of the head and neck and the ability to help restore or improve the function of our senses, particularly hearing and voice. During medical training, I decided to devote my career to children after witnessing the courage and unexpected maturity of a young boy I was taking care of. When I work with families, I strive to bring energy, effort and excellence to every visit so that both parents and children understand what is going on and feel comfortable with the plan of care.
Outside of the hospital, you could find me watching a good sci-fi movie, going to the gym or yoga studio, or covering a pop song on piano, complete with just out-of-tune lyrics.
Clinical Interests
Sensorineural hearing loss, recurrent and chronic otitis media, adenotonsillar hypertrophy, sinus disease, airway pathology
