Personal Statement
I believe in a patient and family-centered model of clinical care and rely on an interdisciplinary team to deliver care that is holistic so that every child’s physical, social, emotional, and spiritual needs are addressed. In an effort to provide the highest quality care, I have pursued specialized training in pain and symptom management as well as communication and quality improvement science. I am passionate about educating other healthcare professionals and have done so through didactic teaching and small group activities as well as developing specialized training programs for residents and fellows in pediatric hospice and palliative medicine.
