Jessica R. Guevara is a board-certified Physician Assistant with the Pediatric Urology Department at Texas Children's Hospital The Woodlands. Jessica’s passion for pediatric medicine was sparked while she volunteered and worked in a pediatric hospital and clinic in her hometown, Orlando, FL. Completing her pediatric clinical rotation during PA school solidified that passion.
Jessica’s greatest joy comes from working alongside children and their families, providing them with welcoming, trustworthy and authentic patient care encounters.
Personal Statement
I am deeply committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care to my patients and their families. I believe the key ingredients to doing so are active listening, trust and collaboration. I want my patients and their families to leave each encounter with a full understanding of their diagnosis and treatment plan for their urologic conditions.
Ultimately, I strive to advocate for all my patients and ensure they are heard and given the best patient care.
Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family and friends. I also enjoy cooking, working out and exploring new food spots.
