Get to know Jean Guthrie, PT, DPT
Jean has been working in orthopedics since graduating in 2017 with a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. Jean is a Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. She is a member of the Sports Section of the American Physical Therapy Association. But more importantly, she is a member of the fightin’ Texas Aggie class of 2014.
Jean believes in creating an individualized treatment plan to assist her patients in returning to their sport. She incorporates an evidence-based treatment approach addressing various strength and coordination impairments that are inhibiting performance. She enjoys utilizing manual techniques, progressive loading, and motor retraining to help meet her patient’s goals.
