Dr. Keir is a Pediatric and Perinatal Pathologist at Texas Children's Hospital with a keen interest in placental and perinatal pathology. In her role, she plays a key part in the diagnosis and management of complex perinatal conditions, providing critical insights into the pathology of pregnancy and neonatal health. As an Assistant Professor of Pathology, Dr. Keir is committed to teaching and mentoring future pathologists, sharing her expertise in these specialized areas. Personal Statement
I am deeply committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to my patients through a meticulous and patient-centered approach. My clinical focus on placental and perinatal pathology allows me to contribute meaningfully to both the health of mothers and infants, ensuring that every diagnosis is thorough and precise. I believe that clear communication and collaboration are key to delivering the best outcomes. In my role as an educator, I aim to foster a learning environment in which those I teach can grow and feel empowered to make meaningful contributions to the field of pathology.
Outside of my clinical and academic responsibilities, I enjoy spending time with my family. I have a variety of hobbies, including crochet, sewing, painting and gymnastics that allow me to unwind and express creativity. Additionally, I’m a big fan of watching sports of all kinds – there's something about the energy and excitement that I find incredibly refreshing. These activities help me maintain balance and stay energized to give my best to both my patients and my family.
