Personal Statement
As an Athletic Trainer, it is my passion to help athletes/patients recover safely as well as minimize their risk to injury. The experience I gained working with collegiate level, high school and middle school athletes has not only allowed me to understand the demands of each sport at a different level, but it has also allowed me to develop a strong belief that no athlete/patient is defined by their injury. When treating an individual, I strive to make sure no one will feel less than or not important when they are in my care. I always take time to give them specialized care that best suits their needs. I believe every individual I encounter deserves the best clinical experience through trust, compassion and care. My goal is not only to get them healthy enough to get back on the field and play the sport they may very well be passionate about, but also to have them reach a level of overall wellness that will allow them to live a healthy life outside of sports.
