Personal Statement
I am a board certified pediatric endocrinology and diabetes specialist. I strive to provide great clinical care for children with hormone disorders and with diabetes and to help them and their families to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to successfully manage different aspects of the condition. My research efforts are focused on childhood prediabetes and type 2 diabetes and adolescent polycystic ovary syndrome, aiming to achieve better understanding of the disease process and how to best treat these disorders in the clinical setting.
