Dr. Nicholson is a Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician who is equipped to diagnose and treat a wide range of infectious diseases. She also serves as an associate director of infection control and prevention at the Texas Children's Hospital North Austin Campus. Dr. Nicholson also conducts research to understand respiratory viral infections in infants and young children. Her work focuses on understanding how respiratory viruses interact with the pediatric immune system to prevent severe disease from viruses such as RSV.

I am a physician scientist who is deeply committed to both the care of my patients as well as researching new and innovative ways to diagnose, treat and ultimately prevent respiratory viral infections.
