Personal Statement
As a prenatal genetic counselor, I prioritize meeting the medical and emotional needs of patients and their families as they navigate possible prenatal genetic diagnoses or birth defects. Working within the multidisciplinary team at the Texas Children’s Department of Maternal Fetal Medicine, my aim is to offer tailored care that empowers patients throughout their pregnancy journeys. Being able to counsel in both English and Spanish enables me to extend this care to a broader spectrum of patients in their preferred language.
