Get to know Emily Finanger, PT, DPT
Emily Finanger, PT, DPT joined the sports physical therapy team at Texas Children’s Hospital – The Woodlands in June of 2018. Emily was an All-American swimmer at the University of Minnesota. In addition, she also competed as a professional tri-athlete taking home two top 10 Iron Man finishes, (2006) and (2008). While Emily enjoys treating all injuries, she has a special interest in caring for endurance athletes, particularly runners and swimmers. Emily’s background provides her with a unique perspective from which to approach treating endurance athletes. Emily believes in treating each patient as a unique individual, addressing their own particular set of limitations as they work toward returning to their prior level of activity.
