Elisa Williams Kunkel, MD, MPH

Dr. Kunkel is a dedicated Pediatrician with a commitment to evidence-based medicine. She finds fulfillment in building long-term relationships with families and caring for children from infancy through adolescence. Dr. Kunkel is an advocate for public health. She is a strong supporter of preventive health, vaccines, maternal and infant health, and children with special needs and chronic illness. She has a special interest in developmental pediatrics and complex care and works with families to support children’s growth, development, and learning.

Personal Statement

As a pediatrician, I believe in partnering with families to provide comprehensive care for each child. I am a strong advocate for vaccines as an effective tool to prevent infectious disease and help children live healthy lives. I have a special interest in caring for families and children with developmental differences, medical complexity, chronic illness, and other special needs. As a mom myself, I enjoy supporting parents through every milestone. Being able to care for children from infancy to adulthood is a joy and a privilege.
