Dr. Sabapathy is a Pediatric Intensivist who specializes in the care of critically ill children with liver failure and perioperative liver transplant patients. A member of the Liver ICU (LICU) team, she is dedicated to bringing innovation and high-quality, coordinated care to children with advanced liver disease.
Her research focuses on understanding the economics of pediatric critical illness, where robust data is needed to facilitate improvements in health care delivery, resource allocation and capacity planning. Her current interests include resource utilization and high-value care in pediatric solid organ transplantation. Through her work as a clinician and health services researcher, she aspires to optimize the care for children with resource-intensive conditions.
