Devin McGaughey currently practices as a pediatric nurse practitioner at Texas Children’s Hospital in the acute and chronic pain care settings. Personal Statement
I am deeply committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to my patients and their families through a multifocal approach. Throughout my career, I have honed my ability to assess and manage complex pain conditions, ranging from musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain to cancer-related pain and opioid use disorder. I utilize a multimodal approach to treatment, focusing on pharmacologic interventions, physical therapy, mental health support and complementary therapies. My goal is always to provide comprehensive care that addresses both the physical and psychological components of pain.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in the outdoors, working out and baking.
